rDel

rDel is a recursive delete program. It'll walk a directory tree and delete the specified files or pattern. It also includes an "only delete older then" option.

Usage

rdel [-dfhv] [-t days] [-p path] file [files...]

where:

• files: filename(s) to be deleted.
• -d: don't recurse. (Def: Off)
• -f: delete read-only files as well. (Def: Off)
• -h: help: print this help text and exit.
• -p path: directory to recurse in. (Def: current dir)
• -t days: only delete files older than 'days' days.
• -v: verbose: output more progress information. (Def: Off)

Note: all command line options are processed first followed by the filenames or patterns to be deleted. The result is that order of arguments is immaterial.

Windows 2000 or Windows XP, x86 versions.

It's extremely unlikely, but rDel might have bugs that could harm or delete files on your computer that you didn't intend to delete. Perhaps all of them. With that out of the way, I will also say that if you find a bug in rDel I'll attempt to correct the problem and get you a new version for free. Since rDel is freeware that last part is kinda silly, but it's my policy for all the software I'm providing here, free or not.
